Glimmers through a darkness ebb

Many people reading this will know the name M.A.R. Barker or Tékumel, and may well have read the news filling up the blogrolls, but many possibly not. If not, and you have an interest in gaming, language or wider fiction, I recommend following one of the links.

How do you do it? You are such a prolific blogger - possibly the most active I've ever discovered!?

Sadly not as prolific as I could be - I still haven't answered those questions for example, or made much progress on the to do list lately in general. I haven't forgotten though, and will get round to them any day now.

I think the key is just quick typing in the narrow windows of opportunity, and lots of mental notetaking and connection-forming, basically drafting a post or posts mentally in advance. A lot of that is just practice of course.

Ah, relax on those questions - it's no problem, really. The moment has passed and in all honesty, you have better things to do, blog-wise, than fart about with answering questions. And to be honest, if you wanted to do anything regarding my blog, I'd far more appreciate feed back on my ongoing story - always need feed back in order to improve.

What amazes me most is the high volume of links you place within your posts! I maybe put three max in a post, and I find that hard work. Being classed as a fossil, html doesn't come easy to me. So seeing the plethora of links in your postings makes my eyes water and my mind boggle!

I'll get round to the questions for sure, and I'll see what I can do about some feedback too. I tend to wander a bit online, posting this or that as the whim takes me, but I will eventually get back to most things. The linking is like the posting in general really. It's pretty fiddly, but does get easier till it's second nature.
