A fresh notch stands out in the etched bark of the oak; an ancient tree. It rises above.
The clearing is run through with its arched roots, the hollows between filled with ferns.
How deep those roots must go...
So deep you sense an energy rising from the base of the world. A soft, distant thrum...
You are weary, but a desire to strike out wells up, washes over you. There are two paths you can go by. One leads up towards the canopy, the other down, into a fold in the land.
What do you do?
Go up Blog One Blog Two Blog Three Blog Four
Go down Blog One Blog Two
Rest awhile Blog One Blog Two.

Here's the challenge.
Continue the adventure at your blog. Link to this page when the adventure brings you here. Comment here if you've created a destination for any of these choices. I'll add it. If we have multiple destinations for one choice, all the better. If you feel another option is needed, write the destination post and comment here too.
Be bold, explorer.
If you've no idea what's going on, read this.
That sounds a bit like this

Cheers

It does indeed. My kind of tree.
My English is too crappy to participate in it :-(
Not at all. From what I've seen your English is strong, and I'd be happy to correct any grammar or spelling issues. If you'd like to try, just go ahead and let me know when it's ready, either here or by email.
Cool! A new fantasy blogwalk!
Cool! Another fantasy blogwalk!
Ugh. I hate blogger errors...
In other news, I've posted my entry. I choose up, as is always wise when given the chance (See Labyrinth).
Like it. If that's not a possible ending, I'd suggest offering a choice and putting out the call, either to carry a route outwards or produce other routes in.
Oh I will participate! Go down!

So far, so good. Three linked scenes, with at least three undeveloped options sketched in.
Anyone with a blog is welcome to join in too. Just post your scene, link to any already existing, and invite others to link to yours.
If someone has written a scene you'd like to see done differently, don't hold back - go ahead and write an alternative.
I'll mark every route with as many destinations as I know about - as 'Blog One', 'Blog Two' etc. - and I encourage everyone participating to do the same. Let's create a multiverse of overlaid times and places and all kinds of parallel adventures. Go wide and go your way.
Ideas and suggestions are very welcome, from non-participants and non-bloggers even. Let's all create.
Thanks! Fixed.
And I have a post up for Rest awhile.
Added. I like the weirdness you're bringing.
If anyone's thinking of developing C'nor's routes out, it might be worth bearing in mind the possible scene Jennie wrote here.
Porky,
I put it up on my blog here.
There's a list of all the scenes so far here.
