Interactive express elevator

Payákár is on the away team, and on board the shuttle for the wild ride down to the surface of Ice Planet Nine...

Which means the real action is starting at Spaceswords & Glory, the blog hosting one of the two Humanspace Empires games being run online. If you haven't heard yet, HE is a pulp science fantasy roleplayer by The Drune at ix, reviewed here.

You can read up on everything that's happened so far and follow all the action through the posts and comments.

There's some more general info here, with a brief summary of the second of the two games, Ancient Astronauts.

Just stopped in for a howdy hello.

Howdy Hello.

Home from the shop and the market. Got lots of nummy ingredients to play with.

Hope your day is going great and that you're enjoying your writing.

Catch you on the flip side :-)

Howdy hello! Good to hear. It's been an exciting weekend in culinary terms this end too, with a little more experimentation than usual. A good day in general, with plenty of exercise and sunshine. I hope you all enjoyed it as well. Not much in the way of writing though. I'll be back down to that tomorrow, with a new energy.

Cool beans. What did you make?

I did almost no making, though I do have more of an urge now - we ate out a couple of times in new places. The most interesting dish was roast goose with apple and raisins, which was very good. It's a refreshing thing to browse a menu and see unusual arrangements on other plates. I have the energy then, but it's hard to focus again after such a relaxing weekend..!

Never had duck before. Glad it was yummy. I almost tried it at a local place but lately, the quality has gone down, so I'll wait until I find a better joint.

But we did hit the iHop and it was horrible. We hadn't gone to one in forever, so we gave it a go.

Bland, soggy, tasteless, and blagh.

Generally I'm not much a fan of eating out, for those same reasons - or worse. It does make a great treat though. Never eaten at House of Pancakes, and might well not for as long as I remember that comment..!
