The Stylish Blogger nominations have died down now I notice. But how? Surely they multiply until the internet collapses? Have they left our part of the blogosphere? Did they get deleted by Blogger last week?
Wherever, after the dust has settled I have five more to turn the mind to. I'm very grateful to John Lambshead, jabberjabber, Ricalope, James S and Brian for thinking the Expanse is worthy of them, and especially for the generous words that were written.
But what to do now? After the first from The Angry Lurker I passed the award on to 15 blogs, and very gladly, but if I do that five more times, that's 75 more blogs nominated.

Can Blogger hold up? Can we?
I've been looking, but no revelations. Any thoughts?

Why not start you own award, "The Porkies", sounds a good name!! Then you can give it away to whoever you want, but somewhere along the line you've gotta involve bacon of some kind, sounds a little kinky I know!!
I agree with Ray. That's what Tim did. He made the Newbie Blogger Award for gamers and passes it out to newbs.
Then I started making Nummy Awards but haven't given one out yet.
I love the idea of a Porky Award. So fun.
Just got back from another short Wiggy walk, she's in her kennel and I'm headed to the shop for the night.
Happy Writing!
So, uh, where are the Orks? They haven't showed up on RWI...
The awards are a good thing, no problem with them but a lot of negativity appeared among forums and blogs, some accused them of being viruses, even the blogger down time was put down to awards. Let's keep them going and promoting blogs.
I'm still suspicious of the 'stylish' thing...
PLEASE MAKE A 'PORKY' AWARD!!!!
Extra points if you can incorporate the word 'bacon' into it.
Bacon is magical.
"Did they get deleted by Blogger last week?"...I think you're onto something!
@ Ray Rousell, The Happy Whisk & scottsz - That Porky award idea is fun, and an egoistic part of me would love to go round stamping things 'Certified Porky'..! Then again, Tim does manage to give out his without looking egoistic, so maybe it's a real option. I'd gladly give an award for something odd, say the most outlandish ideas I read when wandering.
Getting bacon in would be one option. Wasn't there once mention of a 'Porky's Golden Truffle' award? I could also see it being 'Happy as a Pig Run Amuck' or 'Twisted in the Tail', or maybe 'You're Off Your Trotters'.
Have a good night at the shop; more writing coming up.
@ C'nor (Outermost_Toe) - I've been trying to find out what RWI means, and every definition I've found makes the question seem almost as weird as fungus-based orcs in space. Help! If you mean the Orks I was converting for the blog, I was actually looking long and hard at them today. There's very little to do to get the next ready to photograph, first in parts and then made whole, but I keep finding other things to occupy me, like all that writing. The dust grows though, and my resolve with it.
@ The Angry Lurker - As yours is the only answer re the Stylish Blogger at the moment, I'm pleased to inform you you're winning the argument. And I certainly hear what you're saying, loud and clear.
@ Dr. Willett's Workshop - It's a real coincidence... They were here, they were - we know what we saw!
Roll With It? That's the blog you posted the first one on...
Ah, I hadn't thought of that one. I don't know to be honest. I forwarded my part of the latest a couple of weeks ago and the planned posting date was Sunday before last. The first delay was caused by a technical issue I think, but now I know as much as you do. They have a product range just released and I can imagine that's taking up a fair bit of time. I'll ask.
Certified Porky, cracks me up. When the awards spotlight other blogs, I like them. When awards become more like friendship beads or clip art chain letters, they don't interest me.
Happy Writing!
@ C'nor (Outermost_Toe) - I have word. Technical issues were the reason, and everything should be resolved by the weekend.
@ The Happy Whisk - I'll give it some serious thought in a quiet moment, but it does make me smile too. I hope your writing's also going well.
Hey Porky. My writing week went pretty good, actually. I'm in the middle of shift change at work, which means next week ... all AM writing hours. Woohoo.
How goes your writing?
Took some time out today. It'll be a busy weekend without much time for it, but I'll be back with all the more drive on Monday. Morning's a great time to get stuck in, the day stretching out ahead.
