Passing back down the trail you re-enter the meadow where the creatures prance. The bridge again stands before you, crushed plants leading down to the shadow beneath.
The sparkle of the water reminds you how thirsty you are, but as you walk over to the stream you find the bank here is a low cliff and the water inaccessible. Opposite, however, the bank runs down out of the wildflowers right up to the water.
